"Spark It Up," the second alternative shortened version of the award-winning documentary "Blow It Up" has been released for comparison to the first short version titled "Fire It Up."  The first shortened version of the documentary featured additional footage from the 50th Anniversary of the University of Michigan Hash Bash; whereas, this second version features additional musical clips not featured on the first version.  All three versions of "Blow It Up," "Fire It Up," and "Spark It Up" were named for the involvement of pyrotechnic work, as well as the destruction from Hurricane Ian in SW Florida. Once again, my pyrotechnics crew and I had massive explosions over the water at Fisherman’s Village in Punta Gorda, FL. This was a barge setup, so we had to get our sea legs and be mindful of staying hydrated. Make sure you have everything you need before you go out to the barge, because going back-and-forth is not an easy task.
