Cedar Point has been listed in the Guiness Book of World Records too many times to list over the decades.  During the ages of the Rolled Coaster Wars that raged in the '90s, Cedar Point always strived to top the list, and while others might try to muscle them out of the spotlight, they continue to hold their own.  For years, they boasted the most roller coasters in one place, but they are currently 4th on the list, with Six Flags Magic Mountain currently in first with only a couple more, and a couple international contenders at Canada's Wonderland and Poland's Energylandia having just one extra roller coaster each. The Everblades had a strong game 2 in the Kelly Cup Playoffs, defeating South Carolina with a score of 6-2. Starting the game with live music and the Publix sponsored tailgate party with free sweet treats, fans could try their hand attempting to score as many goals as possible in a given time. Heading to the mountains to take in Corrosion of Conformity with Clutch and JD Pinkus at The Signal in Chattanooga, TN, a pitstop at Ruby Falls was dire to stretch the legs with some ziplining, then hike unground in a cave to a hidden waterfall, just to make the blood flow a bit before the show.  Pinkus had my curiousity piqued the most, as I had heard him in Butthole Surfers, knew he was talented, but I had never just seen him strumming a banjo on stage before and didn't really know what to expect.  Whatever it was I thought I might have expected got blown out of the water by sounds that made me scratch my head, like I didn't know a banjo sounded that way, until I spotted his setup of distortion pedals, and was he running that thing barefoot to add to that mushroom mountain music sort of appeal for the area? The hippies swarmed the Charlotte County Fairgrounds at HippieStock Festival, which had formerly been called Flofest.   The fairgrounds floated with inflatables, creating an otherworldly effect, especially when combined with chill zones decorated with tie-dye artwork.  There were tents and hammocks to relax in, overlooking the picturesque pond out back, the perfect backdrop to a peaceful hippie festival.
