Adorable Squishy Plushies Can Be Made At Home

Wandering into the Centennial Park, I met Elizabeth, the owner of Nerdy Peach Stitches, who is not only an awesome knitter who creates everything from adorable squishy plushies to awesome horror characters that are truly one of a kind, but she also teaches people how to create their own knitted toys.  Growing up, I had always been a big fan of crafting my own toys, so I have a big appreciation of someone who not only has that skill, but teaches others how to hone their inner potential and craft their own creations.  She shares patterns for people to make at home, as well as money-saving tips, such as where to get cheap supplies.

Honestly, it was not her teaching that drew in me like a moth to the flame; it was her horror characters.  With yarn, she created just about every horror villain imaginable, with such accurate detailing that it's truly mind-blowing that it's done with simple yarn.  As a horror fan who thought she had seen just about everything horror related, this was truly one-of-a-kind creations that had me awestruck truly.

Don't take my word for it.  Check out this interview, and judge for yourself.  You might be surprised, or you might just download one of her designs and try crafting it at home all by yourself.

There may be puffs of fire glowing in the sky as people perform fire dancing on the beach. You never know how many kites might fill the sky or what dancers will continue to groove under the beach moonlight’s illumination. There might be silly songs about blueberries like thi...
