Weird Al Puddles

Weird Al opened with Puddles Pity Party at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL.  My brother said that he had seen a whole crew of people sporting the Pity Party shirts at events like the drum circle, but he didn't know what it was all about, until he got to see it for himself to truly understand the following.  Not to spoil the routine, but let's say it's definitely an interesting pairing with Weird Al's comedy fans.

Mi hermano comentó que había visto a todo un grupo de personas luciendo camisetas de Pity Party en eventos como el círculo de tambores, pero no sabía de qué se trataba hasta que pudo verlo por sí mismo y comprender realmente el fenómeno. Sin querer arruinar la rutina, digamos que se trata, sin duda, de una combinación interesante para los seguidores de la comedia de Weird Al.


Though Weird Al had relied heavily on bulky set pieces in the past, he has been moving with technology to create more parody videos and has amassed more than in impressive collection over the years.  There's not even time for him to play all of his songs throughout the years, so it's like a guessing game of what he will and won't be playing at times.  Is it and old, loved treasure, or something new?

Aunque en el pasado Weird Al dependía en gran medida de voluminosos elementos escenográficos, ha sabido adaptarse a la tecnología para crear más videos de parodia, acumulando a lo largo de los años una colección verdaderamente impresionante. Ni siquiera dispone de tiempo suficiente para interpretar todas las canciones de su repertorio; por ello, a veces su espectáculo se convierte en una especie de juego de adivinanzas sobre qué temas decidirá tocar y cuáles no. ¿Será una vieja y querida joya, o algo completamente nuevo?


Weird Al is known to change outfits many times within his show, and on this tour, the entire band changes wardrobes to provide a new scenery, with brilliant LED screens illuminating what they want you to see. This allows for parodies and familiar clips from throughout the years. If you missed the show, no worries; there's still plenty of places to catch the tour. 

Es bien sabido que Weird Al cambia de vestuario numerosas veces a lo largo de su espectáculo; en esta gira, toda la banda cambia de indumentaria para crear una nueva ambientación, con brillantes pantallas LED que iluminan aquello que desean mostrar al público. Esto da pie a la presentación de parodias y clips emblemáticos de toda su trayectoria. Si te perdiste el espectáculo, no te preocupes: todavía quedan muchas oportunidades para ver la gira.

Discover Cedar Point

If you are an adrenaline junkie like me, then hands-down, my favorite place to go for roller coasters is at Cedar point in Sandusky, Ohio. While some people might think of other places beyond Ohio for vacation destinations, when it comes to roller coasters and haunted houses, you cannot beat Cedar Point’s selection, as they have not only one of the world’s largest collections of roller coasters that are awesome, but they also have multiple haunted houses this time of year.
