Inside a Firework: Dentro de un fuego artificial

What makes a firework launch into the sky and create all the cool colors we see with our eyes?  One of the professional pyrotechnics at Garden State Fireworks takes us inside of a firework to explain it.  Keep in mind, this is a trained professional, so don't mess with explosives without a professional around.

¿Qué hace que un fuego artificial se eleve hacia el cielo y cree todos esos colores fascinantes que vemos con nuestros propios ojos? Uno de los expertos en pirotecnia de Garden State Fireworks nos muestra el interior de un fuego artificial para explicárnoslo. Chuck Cleary, the pyrotechnic explaining in the video, was one the lead pyrotechnic for the display at Celebration, FL, last year for our gig with Garden State Fireworks.  For those who don't know, Celebration is the city that was founded by Disney, and it is located close to all of the action that can be found at all of the Disney parks.  Yet, it is its own picturesque little town that is as pretty as walking onto a movie set.

While taking apart fireworks is not usually advised, when there is something wrong with the product, such as a wick that had been torn out or something that would make it not work as usual, it is sometimes safer to dismantle a firework than to transport it and risk it exploding during travel.  In this case, it provided a learning opportunity for people to see the lift and charge inside of the explosive.  Garden State Fireworks is one of the oldest American fireworks manufacturers, with the Santore Family having the opportunity to show off their skills at some of the country's most prestigious and historic displays; you can also hire them to put on your own fireworks displays for weddings, holidays and more.

Si bien no suele aconsejarse desarmar fuegos artificiales, cuando el producto presenta algún desperfecto —como una mecha arrancada o cualquier otra anomalía que impida su funcionamiento habitual—, a veces resulta más seguro desmantelar el artefacto que transportarlo y correr el riesgo de que explote durante el traslado. En este caso particular, la situación brindó una oportunidad de aprendizaje, permitiendo a los espectadores observar la carga de elevación y la carga explosiva contenidas en el interior del artefacto. Garden State Fireworks es uno de los fabricantes de fuegos artificiales más antiguos de los Estados Unidos; la familia Santore ha tenido la oportunidad de demostrar su destreza en algunos de los espectáculos pirotécnicos más prestigiosos e históricos del país. Discover Cedar Point

If you are an adrenaline junkie like me, then hands-down, my favorite place to go for roller coasters is at Cedar point in Sandusky, Ohio.
