Great Wolf Naples

 

Gather the Wolf Pack and spend Spring Break at the newest Great Wolf Lodge in Naples, Florida.  Sure, there's bowling, an awesome ropes course, food, and more, but it's really all about the waterpark.  This is one of the only waterpark hotels in Southwest Florida, so you will want to bring your swimsuit.


Shove yourself down the hole, pushing off as hard as you can to ensure the fastest speed possible.  Slip and slide around, twisting and turning in between phases of darkness and unexpected colored lights.  It's like you lose sense of time and place, escaping into this other water world where you don't know when the slide will stop, and when you will splash into a pool of water that baptizes you with a new perspective.

We're already planning our return trip, so trust me, you will want to experience this place.  If waterslides are not cool enough, how about dance parties and an interactive story time where they not only light up the fireplace, but literally can make it snow inside of the hotel that just really kicks up the experience.

Storytime for kids was so good that it literally brough my brother to tears.  He's typically not one to cry, but he was that moved in a good way.  Trust me, it's worth experiencing for yourself, so plan your trip.

Discover Cedar Point

If you are an adrenaline junkie like me, then hands-down, my favorite place to go for roller coasters is at Cedar point in Sandusky, Ohio. While some people might think of other places beyond Ohio for vacation destinations, when it comes to roller coasters and haunted houses, you cannot beat Cedar Point’s selection, as they have not only one of the world’s largest collections of roller coasters that are awesome, but they also have multiple haunted houses this time of year. Fall is my favorite time to go to Cedar point, not only because of the Halloweekends, but also because it’s a little cooler than the hot times in the summer, and the crowds thin out a little more to be able to have less wait times to get on some of those favorite rides.
