In what might be a surprising twist to some, but not a surprise to others, the underdog team claimed the Florida Complex League Championship win. While some may not have expected the Braves to even make it into the championship playoffs, as Boston Red Sox held the number two spot for in their division for a while, when the two teams went head-to-head, and Braves defeated them, that secured their spot in the playoffs.
