Venice Celebrates Holidays: Venecia Celebra Las Vacaciones

The city of Venice, FL, lit up with holiday cheer last night, with the Venice parade serving as a reminder of the city’s centennial celebrations.  With the city turning 100-years-old, many of the town favorites showed up in full festive gear for the holiday celebration. Blocking off the streets, allowing the parade to show off, not only really cool cars and over the top lighting techniques, but something unique to the area is all the creative performers that appear.

La ciudad de Venecia, FL, se iluminó con alegría navideña anoche, con el desfile de Venecia sirviendo como recordatorio de las celebraciones del centenario de la ciudad. Con la ciudad cumpliendo 100 años, muchos de los favoritos de la ciudad se presentaron con todo el equipo festivo para la celebración navideña. Bloqueando las calles, permitiendo que el desfile se muestre, no solo coches realmente geniales y técnicas de iluminación exageradas, sino que algo único en la zona son todos los artistas creativos que aparecen.



There’s not too many cities in the country that have their own trapeze park like Venice does. The reason that there is a trapeze park is because this area is definitely known for entertainers. Some of the best entertainers in the world get trained in this area, and at the parade, they show up in full force, with full aerial stunts, performances, and even an entire float dedicated to the drum circle, with their dancers.

No hay muchas ciudades en el país que tengan su propio parque trapezoidal como la de Venecia. La razón por la que hay un parque trapezoidal es porque esta área es definitivamente conocida por los artistas. Algunos de los mejores artistas del mundo se entrenan en esta área, y en el desfile, aparecen con toda su fuerza, con acrobacias aéreas completas, actuaciones e incluso una carroza completa dedicada al círculo de tambores, con sus bailarines.


If it’s not exciting enough to never know who might appear in such an extravaganza style parade, then perhaps the coolest part takes place after the parade, when the night’s darkness takes over. That’s the perfect time to go get lost in the dazzling light. Walking through the holiday lights is an otherworldly experience that you don’t want to miss.

Si no es lo suficientemente emocionante como para nunca saber quién podría aparecer en un desfile de estilo tan extravagante, entonces tal vez la parte más genial tenga lugar después del desfile, cuando la oscuridad de la noche se hace cargo. Discover Cedar Point

If you are an adrenaline junkie like me, then hands-down, my favorite place to go for roller coasters is at Cedar point in Sandusky, Ohio. While some people might think of other places beyond Ohio for vacation destinations, when it comes to roller coasters and haunted houses, you cannot beat Cedar Point’s selection, as they have not only one of the world’s largest collections of roller coasters that are awesome, but they also have multiple haunted houses this time of year.
