Actor and musician Bill Moseley was one of the latest recipients of the latest installment of the "Murder House Series," the screenplay called "Black Market Doctor." Meeting up with him at Shock Stock in London, Ontario, as we both had projects showing at the horror convention, I slipped him a copy of the screenplay from the series, explaining that the zombie video of mine that had been premiering there tied in with not only that screenplay, but the trilogy of books first published in 2014, as well as the latest horror feature film called "Demons Among Us," which has a number of music videos associated with it. Chatting with him and the fellow next to us, I hadn't realized how much time had passed, or that a line had been forming behind us of eager fans waiting to say hi, until I turned around and saw a snaking stack of bodies.

This is a man who is best known for roles like Chop Top in "Texas Massacre 2," back in 1986, but kids nowadays probably think of him as one of the killers from Rob Zombie movies, such as Otis in "The Devil's Reject's." During his question and answer session that was held just before my video premiered, he discussed working on the various projects that he'd been known for over the years. Taking questions from the crowd and elaborating on everything that people wanted to know about, including behind the scenes, I was mentally comparing his previous characters to the one I saw him play in his latest film the night before, where he was not necessarily the bad guy, but more of the serious guy during bad stuff.

His film had been shown on Friday at Shock Stock, with his talk and my premiere both on Saturday at the Canadian film festival and horror convention. Instead of him being the bad killer guy as people might have stereotyped him to be, he's merely a character who finds himself with the grandson of a famous Nazi, who continues to try to mastermind something terrible to unleash on people. There's unsuspecting meth heads, and you never know what people might do to score some drugs though...

During his question and answer session, he had been interviewed by a member of the Blood in the Snow film festival, another Canadian film festival that features primarily Canadian artistry in horror films. A photo opportunity had been set up prior to his chat, with the line spilling out the front doors of the hotel. Not surprisingly, people were more than eager to chime in with their own questions and curiosities.

As for the rest of the festival, there were some amazing films that I would highly recommend checking out. From short films about killer beans to Uncle Sleazo's television spoofs with the Jeffery Dahmer playset for kids, I was definitely amused. Be sure to check out the latest stuff that Bill Moseley is working on, as he's been known not only for acting, but for rocking out as a musician with Buckethead, as well as his killer project called Bill and Phil with Pantera's Phil Anselmo, so watch this guy...
