Lynn’s Bakery and Deli

While venturing through London, Ontario, for a horror convention, we found ourselves looking for some food to eat, and stumbled across the most delicious treats. An awesome thing about going through Canada is the French influence, and that includes in their pastries. There is just something about that light, crisp and flaky crust, that soft as a cloud bite, there’s so many good things about French baking that you can find at Lynn’s Bakery and Deli.


Mientras nos aventuramos por Londres, Ontario, para una convención de terror, nos encontramos buscando algo de comida para comer, y nos topamos con las delicias más deliciosas. Una cosa increíble de pasar por Canadá es la influencia francesa, y eso incluye en sus pasteles. Hay algo en esa corteza ligera, crujiente y escamosa, tan suave como una nuboca de nube, hay tantas cosas buenas en la repostería francesa que puedes encontrar en Lynn's Bakery and Deli.





Though this is not primarily only a French bakery and deli, they have so much to choose from, it’s literally overwhelming. There’s so many types of bread, I can’t even name them all, and if you wanted some sweet treats, you are in the right spot for sure. The hardest part about going there is that it’s very tough to make a decision on what you want, because there’s so many good things to choose from.


Aunque esto no es principalmente solo una panadería francesa y una tienda de delicatessen, tienen mucho para elegir, que es literalmente abrumador. Hay tantos tipos de pan que ni siquiera puedo nombrarlos a todos, y si querías algunos dulces, seguro que estás en el lugar correcto. La parte más difícil de ir allí es que es muy difícil tomar una decisión sobre lo que quieres, porque hay muchas cosas buenas entre las que elegir.



Their dessert case is not one that you can simply walk past. As you gaze upon all the different selections, it’s drool worthy to say the least. Me personally, I just wanted to try a bite of everything, but I don’t know if they were gonna let me do that…


Su estuche de postres no es uno por el que simplemente puedas pasar. Mientras miras todas las diferentes selecciones, es una baba por decir lo menos. Yo personalmente, solo quería probar un bocado de todo, pero no sé si me iban a dejar hacer eso...



If you need gourmet bread, some awesome coffee, some sides to bring to pass at a party, this place has all that and more. They have over-the-top donuts, such as a turtle donut that is filled to the brim with frosting, then covered with chocolate, pecans and caramel, and it’s just so delicious. The Napoleons are definitely worth trying, and there’s so many things that look amazing.


Si necesitas pan gourmet, un poco de café increíble, algunos acompañamientos para llevar a una fiesta, este lugar tiene todo eso y más. Tienen rosquillas exageradas, como una rosquilla de tortuga que se llena hasta el borde con glaseado, luego se cubre con chocolate, nueces pecanas y caramelo, y es tan deliciosa. Definitivamente vale la pena probar los Napoleón, y hay muchas cosas que se ven increíbles.



With the hardest part of being choosing what will be your favorite, Lynn’s Bakery and Deli is definitely worth a trip. It’s very likely that you will discover something new that you’ve never tried before. Of all the things I tried, all of them were amazing, so definitely recommend checking it out for yourself.


Con la parte más difícil de elegir cuál será tu favorito, Lynn's Bakery and Deli definitivamente vale la pena un viaje. Es muy probable que descubras algo nuevo que nunca antes habías probado. De todas las cosas que probé, todas fueron increíbles, así que definitivamente recomiendo comprobarlo por ti mismo.


Did I mention that they do catering? They can help you out with any party or gathering that you might be having. It’s always nice to let someone take the wheel for events, especially when you know they can handle baking up the most delicious food for your guests.
