Free Baseball Season: Temporada de Béisbol Gratis

Free baseball season is in full swing, giving Floridians another reason to Party Like Pirates.  Through the end of July, enjoy taking in free games at the spring training facilities in South Florida with the Florida Complex League games, which highlights the rookie players for the various professional baseball teams.  Today, the Boston Red Sox played Atlanta Braves at CoolToday Park, and tomorrow at noon, the Atlanta Braves will take on the Pittsburgh Pirates at CoolToday Park in North Port, another free game for all.

Depending where you are located in South Florida, there are various parks that host free FCL games.  CoolToday Park in North Port is home to the Atlanta Braves, while the Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte is where fans can catch the Tampa Bay Rays.  Jet Blue Park in Fort Myers is where Boston Red Sox calls home, and the Minnesota Twins are also in Fort Myers, while the Pittsburgh Pirates and Baltimore Orioles are just a little further north in Sarasota and Bradenton; all offer free games.

Check the individual park's schedule for when your favorite team will be playing next, as free is sure to fit anyone's budget.  Not only is it good, clean, family fun for free, but it gives fans a chance to check out the latest college recruits and foreign players that were hand selected to be the next superstars.  Follow the intensity as these players prove their talents to the team and to their newest fans, and you will have the bragging rights of being able to say that you first saw them play when they were a rookie.
