Sports Illustrated Resort, Punta Cana

Taking another trip through Monster Reservation Group, this time we found ourselves at the Sports Illustrated Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The trip started out a little rough, as airlines were unpredictable during travel, but once we got to the Dominican Republic, things started to calm down to relaxation time. There’s nothing quite like having a waterview, a pool to relax in, and all inclusive benefits to really make you feel at home.

El viaje comenzó un poco difícil, ya que las aerolíneas eran impredecibles durante el viaje, pero una vez que llegamos a la República Dominicana, las cosas comenzaron a calmarse hasta el tiempo de relajación. No hay nada como tener una vista al agua, una piscina para relajarse y beneficios todo incluido para que realmente te sientas como en casa.





When staying at an all-inclusive resort, it’s easy to indulge when all the food and alcohol is included. That’s why you have to have activities to burn off some calories, and the Sports Illustrated Resort had plenty of offerings to get your body moving. From salsa dancing to water aerobics and yoga, there were plenty of things to keep you amused, along with sports activities like darts, putt-putt golf, and other challenges for you to win prizes in competition against other guests at the resort.

Miguel is a great presenter, as he even speaks Chinese. With the Dominican Republic being so multicultural, you will run into people from all over the world at this resort, where everyone is looking to have a good time, so it’s a great place to go for spring break or any other times of travel.

For added fun, book an excursion, such as an off-road adventure to Macao Beach. If you would rather sit back and watch other people put on a show, there’s nightly entertainment that varies from concerts to dancing and more, with Sopita more than willing to teach guests how to dance if needed. The Sports Illustrated Resort does have activities for people of all ages, so this is a great place for family travel.
