With Cyber Monday sales kicking in, now might be a great time to plan that migration south for the winter. If you feel like you might miss out on some northern winter festivities by visiting Florida, rest assured there’s enough snowbirds trying to explain snow to people who have never seen it in the Sunshine State. This, here in Florida, people create their own winter wonderlands.

From giant icescapes that have been hand carved at Gaylord Palms ICE! display and cirque show, to the various Disney Resorts with edible landscapes, including a chocolate merry-go-round, there’s a lot to see. Last year, Gaylord Palms featured the Grinch Who Stole Christmas. This year, their theme is Charlie Brown’s Christmas.

Which display will be your favorite?  From giant ice slides to a snowball throwing area, there’s so much to see and do that feels like you’re in a colder climate.  With displays so cold they hand out parkas to bundle up with, you nearly forget you’re in the Sunshine State.
