When you're ready to experience haunted houses and get scared in some spooky settings, Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens offers up some fun for the family. Having more than a few haunted houses and scare zones available to send shivers up the spine, that hardest part is debating whether to go to a haunted house or hop on a roller coaster that will send g-forces in loops in your stomach. Either way, it's a blast.

Getting into haunted houses by working the very first Hallo-Weekends at Cedar Point, working behind the scenes, I am always amazed to see what other haunted house attractions do in comparison to Cedar Fair. Honestly, I can say that Howl-O-Scream had a few things that I was not expecting that tickled me pink. For one, who does a frozen haunted house that will literally chill you the second you walk in the door?

After hoofin' around in the Florida heat, that frozen haunted house is one that will make you enjoy your stay inside there for a while, as that heat wave will greet you the minute you leave, making it a novelty experience that deserves props. The bondage aspect thrown into the vampire skit was unexpectedly cool as well. For those not into it, it looks like torture, and those familiar cannot help but smile.
