Meandering around Fantasm Horror, Paranormal and Burlesque Convention in Orlando, FL, I cornered a few horror icons, chatting about whatever came to mind at the time. With a whole line of celebrities making appearances at the convention, there were plenty to choose from, some busier than others. Choosing who to talk to depended on who was available at the time, as some were simply gone from booths, leaving others the chance to shine and tell me about what makes them known as a star.

Walking further down the aisle at Fantasm, I ran into Donnie Jeffcoat from "Night of the Demons." More recently, he appeared on "CSI: NY" and "Eagle Eye." Some might remember his earlier days on "General Hospital," "Touched by an Angel," "Desperate Housewives," "Punkey Brewster," or "Ghoulies II," as he stared in the 80's, even appearing on televisions shows like "Who's the Boss," though it's more likely you can now find him instructing martial artists in the art of self-defense.

Another one who got started in the 80's in iconic shows like "Rags to Riches," "21 Jump Street," and "Alf," is a long-haired dude named Hal Havins. While you might remember him on "Cheers," you might also remember his horror characters in "Night of the Demons," "Witchtrap," and "Fear the Walking Dead." Though he has made appearances in a plethora of shows over the years, such as "Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell," "How I Met Your Mother," "Parks and Recreation" and so much more.
