C’est La Vie in Lakewood Ranch
A French saying came into my head yesterday, “c’est La vie,” literally translated to, “it is life,” though we might use the phrase more like, “such is life.” Imagine my surprise, after pondering the phrase yesterday, to see a restaurant with that name today. The grand opening banner further convinced me it was worth a try. Un dicho francés vino a mi cabeza ayer, "c'est La vie", traducido literalmente como "es la vida", aunque podríamos usar la frase más como "tal es la vida". Imagina mi sorpresa, después de reflexionar sobre la frase ayer, de ver un restaurante con ese nombre hoy. La pancarta de la gran inauguración me convenció aún más de que valía la pena intentarlo. There’s just something about the delicacies of the pastry process that makes it worth indulging in from time to time. It’s like you can taste the love that goes into the baking process, as it is not something that is quickly thrown in the microwave and pressed as done after 30 seconds. C
